Back at last...

Been a while since last posting ...but have the house to myself for the first time in ages, its raining and missy took the dogs out and once I came in started this little project. I was given the tea pot for my birthday by Liz and the art staff. A biscuit fired teapot, the mugs I had since last year..

one mug then remembered on Emily started..but never completed...

...hope coloured slip is not too thick

...see what it is like once fired...

Again..

If I were to use either legs it would need to be a properly upholstered seat section, will save these for another job...

In its current state it can be a pouffe...just need to get stuffing and fill it tight ...

Misty thinks so too....very comfy but wonders it it will remain in our house!!!!

Not going to plan...

Stitching has not worked so well..may need to ask a 'friend'. Also need to get manutex as pigment is not so good on velvet/or try a heavy cotton. Maybe make outdoor cushions...

Negative/positive

Horrible dull wet trying to snow so why not do some more.
New screen with the other part of stencil...uses less ink and less pigment is better on velvet. Colours not brilliant ...but will update..

A coordinating fabric...will make a foot stool from these two pieces. I have the foam and some ball and claw legs I rescued awhile ago

Owl -screen

Seamless repeat....taken to screen print

altering image as I go on...

using older cut out dots...

I have no undyed fabric at present so did grey on yellow green I had...

...no fabric, manutex and now no more pigment...

First attempts....

Idea...use old bits and pieces to create a screen

not impressed with print...

Screen looks the best, if I was to use this idea to look like (image 1) it would need planning....
